Juvenile Law

We all face challenges.  However, the justice system which handles matters involving those between the ages of 10 and 16 is very different from the adult judicial system.  Whether a young child or a teenager, we are here to guide you through the challenges of the juvenile justice system.

Child Protection Law

While divorce, custody arrangements and child support matters form the majority of family law cases, Hopkins Law Firm, PLLC will assist you in matters involving: the Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Protective Services (CPS), domestic violence, protective orders, modification of existing orders, enforcement of orders, spousal maintenance, and more.

Criminal Law

Hopkins Law Firm, PLLC handles all classes of misdemeanors including: family violence assault, theft, assault, possession of marijuana, criminal mischief, minors with alcohol, drug tickets, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary of a vehicle, evading or resisting arrest, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Guardianship

Often family members and other loved ones reach a point when they can no longer make their own personal decisions, whether due to age, illness or disability.  As one requires assistance of another person, guardianships provide family members the ability to make important decisions and handle matters on their behalf.
